Cute DIY Garden Decoration

Welcome to another blogpost! This time I wanted to share some easy but cute DIY's that you can do to decorate your garden. So let's get to them.

The first one is flags from cotton fabric with quotes stamped on. It's very easy to make and all you need is some pieces of cotton, stamps, rope and needle and tread.

Cut the pieces of fabric to the desired size and write whatever you like on it with the stamps. Then cut the rope to the needed length, wrap the top of the fabric around the rope and put some simple stitches through the fabric to make it stay on the rope.

These flags have been hanging in the garden and in the rain for a while now and the ink has not leaked through the fabric at all and it still looks amazing!

For the second DIY, you only need a pot plate, some paint and stamps. Just give the plate a lick of paint and stamp your favourite quote and badabing badaboom it's done. It's that simple!

The stamps also work perfectly fine on wood so you can personalize your workbench like that as well.

The next DIY is again very easy and you again only need a couple of materials. For this one, you only need small glass jars and rope.

Just wrap and knot the rope around the neck of the jars and you can hang them up. Then you have a very cute display for some flowers!

Like in the picture you can hang them on some hooks but you can for example also use them up to decorate a pergola or something like that!

The last one is the toughest and most time consuming which is crocheted flags. These are granny squares of which you can find lots of examples and tutorials online. Once you've got some separate squares you only have to run a rope through it and it's perfect to add some colour to your garden when you're having a party outside (according to your local corona rules obviously). Since it's made from fabric you can just throw it in the washing machine (in a bra bag) when it gets a bit dirty.
